Current transformer

Current transformer (CT for short) is the device which could transfer and measuring the current according to the principle of electromagnetic induction.

And this dry-type CT manufactured is composed of primary winding, outer sheath, capacitive main insulation structure, silicone rubber umbrella skirt pressure balancing cover at both ends, shell, secondary winding and conductive wire clip.

With the excellence advantages of no oil-filling, no gas-filling, no porcelain, small volume, light weight, small maintenance workload, fire and explosion protection, the dry-type CT is popularized rapidly and widely in CHINA. And due to along surface voltage distribution equality and using silicone rubber material as the outer insulation, can further improve the pollution flashover voltage.

Such as:

LGB - 110: rated voltage 110 kv, dry type current transformer with protection coil. LGB - 220: rated voltage 220 kv, dry type current transformer with protection coil.

IV Services conditions

Altitude: suitable for 1000 m and below, if above 1000 m, amend according to IEC

standard.

The ambient air conditions: air temperature, maximum 45 °C, minimum- 45 °C.

Creepage ratio should comply with the IEC Standrad.

Creepage ratio divided into 4 class, I, 16 mm/kV. II : 20 mm/kV; III, 25 mm/Kv;IV: 31 mm/kV,

Note:

Class I of 16 mm/kV is same with the new class 1 of 27.71mm/kV( pollution class B);

Class II of 20 mm/kV is same with the new class 2 of 34.64mm/kV( pollution class C)

Class III of 25 mm/kV is same with the new class 3 of 43.30mm/kV( pollution class D)

Class IV of 31 mm/kV is same with the new class 4 of 53.69mm/kV( pollution class E)

If no user demands, the default : 25 mm/kV.

4.Partial discharge: under the rated voltage1.05Um/√3 below≤10Pc.

5.The rest of the technical conditions shall conform to the IEC-61869-2<<current transformer>>.

VI Transportation and hoisting

1. The transportation

1.1 Products can use train, ship, car and aircraft etc. vehicles to transportation, the train carriages, steamship cabin and car carriage should be keep clean, no pollution.

1.2 Products truck loading should accord with the requirements of shipping regulations, and place the products securely , not allowed to appear in the transportation shake, crash and move.

1.3 Products in the process of transportation, gradient shall not be greater than 30 °. 1.4 Products at the station port transfer or discharge at destination not allow stacking.

2.Product lifting

2.1 Handling equipment can use crane, truck crane or forklift etc. lifting equipment.

2.2 When loading and unloading should be strictly in accordance with the loading and unloading procedures.

2.3 "Lift here" sign are in the the four below cornerof the main package box below . When lifting, should be in the "lift here" suspension wire rope. As shown in picture:

2.4 Main package box surface spray with center of gravity mark, if the center of gravity deviate from the center position obviously, when lifting, should adjust the length of the steel wire rope make hook directly facing the box center of gravity.

2.5 Products loading and unloading process, should handle with care.

VII Acceptance, custody and storage

1. Acceptance checks

After receiving the current transformer, should check it immediately.

1.1 Check whether conform to product nameplate data and order contract , such as product model, rated current ratio, rated capacity etc.

1.2 Check the leave factory file whether complete, whether consistent with contract.

1.3 Check whether the packing parts and accessories in the box is consistent with packing list.

1.4 Check products in the transport have or not damage, whether the product parts damage and displacement, conductive wire clip whether loose, fault, insulation whether have breakage,dirt or foreign bodies etc.

1.5 Products open box check out, if not immediately put into operation, should be properly keep or repackag, in case of damage lose.

2. Warehousing & Deposition

2.1 If need warehousing and deposition, packaging should not dismantled, if check and accept need unpacking, after the check and accept should restore the packing.

2.2 For long-term storage products, must check storage in warehouse, warehouse should be clean, dry, should not be stored at the same time the active chemicals and corrosive materials.

2.3 Products not allowed to stack.

VIII Product installation

1. Before installation should read this specification conscientiously, product nameplate and products outline dimensional drawing, understand products weight, installation method etc.,prepare the corresponding lifting equipment and tools. Be careful not scratch the silicon rubber umbrella skirt. Hoisting way as picture:

1. 1When lifting, P1, P2 on both sides rope length is consistent, transformer can not incline. If found transformer incline should pay attention to adjust the rope length on both sides, make its equilibrium.

1. 2If the transformer center of gravity is incline or beyond the scope of shell, need to fix the transformer top, such as on the left side of A , the four rope tied together, toward to up lifting, and ensure the transformer no partial.

2. In general, can be directly place the current transformer in the use space, install check can be put into operation. On-site installation screw hole position should be reference to current transformer outline dimensional drawing, corresponding to that the current transformer installation hole,through the bolt to fix current transformer, before operation should earthing bolt on the shell to ground connection.
